There are vortexes of spiritual energy all over the world. Most of them were discovered at a very early point in history by the Old World. The Pyramids of Egypt and the Temples of the Mayans and Aztes are very powerful. Nevertheless very little is known about the Temple Vortexes of Southern India. Most ancient Temples in Southern India were built according to the instructions of Siddha masters who initially founded those Temples. Each Temple has its own history in terms of the energy it espouses.

Temple Vortexes for the nine planets is one of the unique facets of Temple geography of Southern India. Although there are individual Temples dedicated to each planet, there is one Temple that are dedicated to all the planets. It is called the Suryanar Koil. This Temple has the sun as the central deity surrounded by all the rest of the planets. I am leading a pilgrimage to this site and we will be doing special rituals to propitiate the planets.
