Sometime ago, I wrote a note on wishy-washy behavior. That was a prelude to this note on commitment. The lack of success is due to non-commitment and frivolous attitudes. Both trace back to one's own karma. Your finances are miserable, and so are many other areas of your life. But you don't do anything about it ~ not seriously. You may say, "Well, I did this seminar, or that remedy or this cleansing and that…". Give me an honest answer. What do you think about all day long?
Napoleon Hill made a scientific study of those who became successful in life. He came up with this, "You are what you think all day long." Now, tell me, honestly, what have you been thinking about all day long? Have you ever been able to focus on one thought for an extended period of time? Your mind is like a shopping cart, and your karma picks up all objects and dumps them into the cart. In addition to your existing karma, you go on adding more karma. Your mind has this other chronic behavior; you play a victim role or blame this on others. You are neither a victim nor is anyone else responsible for your life.
I am fully sympathetic about the human predicament. No significant progress is possible with the mind that moves from thought to thought without any commitment. I have said many times, if the mind had the ability to stay on one thought, it can manifest that thought. But you have not achieved this condition. You have not understood the mind and the ways to control and discipline it.
Now, there is an opportunity for you! Beginning January 2003, I am going to start a year-long program of "mind training" for the Prosperity and Enlightenment program participants. The syllabus will include the following:
- Understanding the mind processes
- What triggers the mind
- Mind verses Destiny
- Methods to stop mind chatter
- Intelligence beyond the mind
I also want some of you, whom God has given the gifts, to pay for someone else who doesn't have the money to do this program. This is the best use of your money - giving someone this gift of wisdom and helping someone else to change their life!
Samadhi Week and Gurupurnima
A year ago, I did a one-week Samadhi Workshop in California. Some 28 VHS tapes were made, which later became 14 tapes after editing. I never was involved in the editing process. Elaine Isha spent sleepless nights to edit them and label them.
For no reason, I developed an interest in looking at them recently and found that they are tremendous. For the first time, I became convinced of the value of my "blah, blah". I thought that everyone should have copies and watch them over and over again. I came up with a Holiday Sale.
The Samadhi tape series deals with various topics. There are sophisticated discussions of how you can create things simultaneously in different planes; practical guidelines to buy a Mercedes or a nice home; different kinds of manifestations through concentration; the relationship between mind and matter, etc.
The Gurupurnima videos carry my latest teachings and have great value. All my talks are spontaneous. They don't come form my mind, but from the depth of the soul. Every time you watch them, you catch a different layer of its depth. Listen to them carefully. Stop the video and concentrate. It is not like watching a movie. Destiny would allow it to be shown only at this time.
