How does it work?
Vaaak Sounds, Dattatreya Siva Baba's company, sells items through a Yahoo Store. At the moment offerings include meditation CDs and videos. In the upcoming months more products will be added.

As an affiliate member, you will receive a 30% commission on sales that come through your web site.

What do I need to do? You will need to put up a web site and add a link to your site that refers people to the Vaaak Sounds store. When a reader clicks on your link and makes a purchase, Vaaak Sounds tracks it and credits you for the commission. (add information on payment timing, etc.)

What if I don't already have a web site? You have several options. One is to investigate the free web site offers available now. If you do explore this option be sure to understand the offers work. With many of these offers, what you have been offered is free "hosting" only.

Think of hosting as on-line storage for your web pages on the Internet. If that is all they offered they will probably not help you design and build the web pages.

Another option is to use a special offer Baba has prepared to help get you started. He has arranged with a web services company he knows well to create a full-service solution for you for an extremely low price. The company, Zentech, will register your domain, design and build your web site, and host it for you.

A very basic sample site is available at www.zentechinc.com. It will give you an idea of the most basic site you can build and spur your imagination in designing your site.

You are welcome to use all of the services in Baba's offer, or go with specific services. Pricing through Zentech is:

• Register your domain, approximately $35 per year
• Build a custom 3 page web site, $350, payable in 3 installments
• Host your site, $38 per month
