The Three Gifts for the Golden Age

Dattatreya Siva Baba What are The Three Gifts?
The Three Gifts are what Dattatreya Siva Baba calls three items that are part of his core practice: Vibhuti (sacred ash), Rudraksha mala beads and the One Minute Meditation. Dattatreya Siva Baba says they are gifts from the Divine to help us through so many of life's challenges.

Why are they part of the core practice?
Each item is a powerful concentrated source of spiritual blessings, protection and empowerment. Used together as part of your daily practice, these gifts can greatly accelerate your material and spiritual progress.

On the most immediate, practical level, vibhuti helps dissolve negative thoughts, clarifies your focus and enables you to set right goals, and help you manifest your desires. Rudraksha mala beads act as spiritual protection and provide general blessings. The One Minute Meditation helps you attract prosperity and enlightenment.

How do I use each of these gifts?
Vibhuti - Using your right hand, place the vibhuti on your forehead, throat and shoulders before meditating or all over your body before you sleep. It's ok to rub off the sacred ash before you leave the house. Dattatreya Siva Baba has energetically blessed the vibhuti.

Rudraksha mala beads - wear the beads around your neck throughout the day and even while you sleep, if you like. To bring extra positive energy to your chants and meditations, you can roll one bead at a time between your right thumb and index finger for each recitation. It's customary not to cross over the "Meru" bead, so when doing longer chants if you reach the single bead hanging below the others, turn the mala around and begin counting the other way.

Dattatreya Siva Baba has created special mala beads with Rudraksha seeds and crystals (a balance of Shiva/Parvathi, masculine/feminine energies). The set has 54 beads. On traditional 108-bead malas the Meru marks the half-way point through a count of 108.
