What IS Yogic Sleep?

The Yogic Sleep technique was developed by Dattatriya Siva Baba over a twenty year period of experimentation. It is fifteen ancient healing techniques synthesized into one.

It produces a state of relaxation deeper than deep sleep. When the meditation is done at its most effective level, twenty minutes of yogic sleep is equal to eight hours of sleep.

Additional experiences from doing yogic sleep include:

  1. immediate stress reduction
  2. a clearer mind
  3. deep physical healing
  4. profound rejuvenation at a deep cellular level

REST CURES

The yogis believe that the quality of rest determines the quality of activity. The deeper the quality of rest, the clearer and more profound will be the experience of waking consciousness. If we didn't sleep eight hours a day, we'd be insane, our bodies would fall apart, and we would not be able to function.

If ordinary sleep gives us that amount of healing, think how much more we gain when we access a profound level of rest in a short amount of time with heightened awareness. This is the experience of people who have done the YOGIC SLEEP.
